About Nateo Program
At Maternity Hospital Bory, we do everything to ensure you experience a natural and safe birth in a pleasant atmosphere. We view everything through the eyes of mothers.
That’s why we offer the Nateo and Nateo Family supplementary programs, where you can enjoy a level of comfort and care for yourself, your baby, or your entire family.
Reservation of a Birth Date at Bory Maternity Ward
Dear future mothers, we will always inform you about the launch of the reservation system on our social media and website.
The next registration for February birth dates will take place on November 19, 2024.
Please note that registration is always done via this link.
MAMA Academy
MAMA Academy is a group course for parents consisting of eight sessions. Midwives, physiotherapists, and nutrition therapists from Bory Maternity Ward prepare the mother, along with her partner, for childbirth through sessions focused on nutritional counseling, birth simulation, lactation, and getting back into shape after childbirth.
Extra Meals
After childbirth, a mother may have changed dietary preferences. Therefore, snacks for mid-morning or afternoon will be delivered directly to her room. Treat yourself to a healthy delight.
Accommodation for the Support Person During the Stay
We allow all mothers to experience the first moments of their baby’s life in the presence of their loved ones. The father can bond with the baby from the very first minutes, while also providing a sense of safety and comfort for the mother during the family’s first days together.
Presence of a Second Support Person During Childbirth
We allow mothers to experience childbirth with their trusted loved ones:
- A family member (over 15 years old)
- Or a close friend or doula.
Photography During Pregnancy and After the Baby's Arrival
In our photographer’s studio, mothers, alone or with their partner, can capture unforgettable moments before the baby’s arrival. During the first stage of labor, a chosen photographer can spend up to two hours in the birthing room, documenting the moments before the new family member’s arrival. In the postpartum room, we will photograph the baby in softly stylized images.
Exercises and Massage for the Mother
We offer the mother relaxing and regenerative pelvic floor exercises and a comfortable massage of a selected body part after childbirth, delivered directly in the postpartum room.
Professional medical care
Our team of experienced doctors and midwives, each with 12 years of practice on average, is available 24/7 to provide top-notch care for both mother and baby. With a focus on safety and personalized attention, we ensure continuous support and expert care around the clock.
Intimacy
At Bory Maternity Ward, individual birthing rooms are available, ensuring maximum privacy for the mother, partner, and, after birth, the baby. We support bonding immediately after birth, and we also provide support and assistance with breastfeeding, including the availability of lactation consultants. At Bory Maternity Ward, bonding is encouraged even in the case of a cesarean section. If the mother's health does not allow it, the father takes on the role.
Support from family
At Bory Maternity Ward, we believe that the presence of a partner or family member during childbirth provides a greater sense of safety and assurance for both the mother and baby. We have created an environment where fathers can be a part of the birth process, even during a cesarean section.
Comprehensive care
At Bory Maternity Ward, the condition and health of both the mother and baby are regularly monitored. In case of need or if the baby is at risk, a neonatal intensive care unit with an experienced neonatology team is located nearby. If necessary, even before birth, the baby's health is cared for by a fetal medicine center team. Bory Ward is the only place where a mother can be hospitalized together with her premature baby for the entire duration of the hospital stay.
Here’s everything you need to know about Nateo:
Can I give birth at Bory Maternity Ward without the Nateo program?
Yes, of course. Mothers have access to the services of Bory Maternity Ward as before. The current range of healthcare services remains unchanged for all registered and emergency patients, and it is fully covered by health insurance.
If I change my mind about the program selection, can I still change it after registration?
It is possible to purchase the program in person at Bory Maternity Ward; however, we recommend selecting it during registration for your delivery date.
If I don't use one of the selected Nateo services, how will you compensate for it?
The mother selects the program's services as a whole; it's up to her which services she chooses to use and which she does not.
Can I choose just an additional service for the birth instead of the full program?
Yes, of course. Selected additional services are available as before in the Bory Hospital price list.
Can I purchase the Nateo program as a gift voucher for my partner?
Currently, no, but it is a great idea that we will consider. For now, mothers or their partners need to book directly online and select the Nateo program during the appointment confirmation process.
Does the package include the option to choose an obstetrician or midwife?
The Nateo programs do not include the option to choose an obstetrician or midwife. If you are interested in this service, you can still select it separately.
Who can purchase the Nateo programs?
The Nateo and Nateo Family programs can be purchased by mothers who will be registering for delivery after August 19, 2024. Unfortunately, mothers who are already registered for delivery at Bory Maternity Ward cannot yet purchase any of the Nateo programs or use any of the paid additional services.
Are aromatherapy, music therapy, or the use of the shower during the first stage of labor chargeable services?
Music therapy, aromatherapy, herbal steam, and hydrotherapy (including the use of the shower during the first stage of labor) are not chargeable services. Each mother giving birth at Bory Maternity Ward has access to these services free of charge.
Private Room
At Bory Maternity Ward, every mother can look forward to a fully equipped room with air conditioning, a private bathroom, a refrigerator, as well as WiFi and TV. An advantage is the possibility for the partner or support person to be present and stay with the mother and newborn directly in the room throughout the entire stay.
Care
We offer continuous access to lactation consultants and psychological services, ensuring mothers receive the support they need. Our friendly and accommodating staff are always available, respecting and honoring the individual needs and wishes of each mother.
Prenatal Education
Expectant mothers can join prenatal courses to prepare for childbirth and newborn care. They also have the option to create a personalized birth plan, ensuring their preferences and wishes are respected throughout the birthing process.
Additional Services for Enhanced Comfort
An advantage of Bory Maternity Ward is the range of additional services that enhance the mother’s comfort, such as hydrotherapy in the pool, aromatherapy, music therapy, herbal steaming, baby massage, relaxation techniques, and exercises before and after childbirth. Providing basic supplies for the newborn, such as diapers, clothing, and hygiene products, is also standard.
Individual care at Bory Maternity Ward means that one midwife looks after the mother from admission until childbirth. The expectant mother can turn to her for any concerns or issues. With over 3,500 births planned annually at Bory Hospital, our team consists of experienced obstetricians, midwives, neonatologists, and neonatal nurses.

Presence of a midwife
At Bory Maternity Ward, we strengthen the role of midwives in non-high-risk pregnancies, as they play a crucial role in decision-making for expectant mothers. We aim for physiological pregnancies and births to be managed by midwives. However, in case of complications or any emerging risks, the midwife can consult an experienced obstetrician-gynecologist at any time.
Statistics show that non-high-risk deliveries under the supervision of midwives result in fewer cesarean sections. For women with high-risk pregnancies, a dedicated area adjacent to the postpartum unit is reserved where they are hospitalized and monitored by an obstetrician-gynecologist prior to delivery.
