Hospitalization at Bory Hospital
Every patient can freely choose the hospital where they want to undergo a planned procedure or hospitalization. The inpatient department at Bory Hospital has been open since May 2023. If you choose Bory Hospital for your hospitalization, you must first schedule an appointment for an examination at the hospital clinic.
How to Schedule an Examination
You can schedule an appointment for an examination or other procedure:
- By phone through the contact center at 0950 105 510 from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- In person at the Bory Hospital receptions only from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
One family member or close companion may stay with the patient in the room. This service is chargeable according to the current PRICE LIST with fees available on our website.
Visiting Hours
Visiting hours at the inpatient section of Bory Hospital are from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The suitable number of visitors for one patient is a maximum of 4 people simultaneously in the patient's room.
If there are more visitors, they should alternate in the room to comply with the rule, or the visit with the patient can take place in designated areas, such as a visitors' room, hospital lobby, etc.

- Information about Hospitalized Patients: By phone through the contact center at 0950 105 510 from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, option 5.
Notice: To obtain information, you will need the identification code of the hospitalized patient (TOKEN).
- To connect with the reception of the relevant department, we will require the full name of the hospitalized patient and the so-called TOKEN.
- The TOKEN is a 4-character code - a letter followed by three digits.
- Information about the patient's health status can only be provided to the closest family members of the hospitalized patient or individuals specified by the patient upon admission.
- Without these identification details, we cannot process your request. Please contact the hospitalized patient directly or their closest family.
What do I need to bring for hospitalization?
Preparing for hospitalization involves more than just mental readiness; you'll also need to bring the necessary documentation and personal items:
Required Documentation:
- Identification card or other proof of identity
- Health insurance card
- Referral for hospitalization (if not already provided to the hospital staff)
- Certificate of work incapacity (if needed, this should be obtained from your general practitioner)
Necessary Items:
- Medications: Bring any medications you regularly take in their original packaging (not in pill organizers or bottles). Include details on the dosage of all long-term medications you take or will likely need during hospitalization. Provide this information to the hospitalist and nurse.
- Personal hygiene items: Towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, comb, other toiletries, and shaving items.
- Clothing: Comfortable indoor footwear, robe, pajamas/nightgown, and underwear.
- Personal health aids: Hearing aid, crutch, cane, glasses, etc.
Items to Leave at Home:
- Valuables: Jewelry, valuable items, large amounts of money. The hospital is not responsible for any loss of personal belongings.
- Weapons
- Tobacco products: Cigarettes, tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaporizers, chewing tobacco. If you're nicotine-dependent, consider bringing nicotine patches.
